In 2017, we will begin working on an update of the existing Watershed Restoration Plan for the lower Clark Fork which covers the area that drains into the lower Clark Fork between Prospect Creek (just below Thompson Falls Dam) west to Blue Creek on (near the Idaho/Montana border. We will also be creating the first Watershed Restoration Plan for the Thompson River. Learn more about Watershed Restoration Plans from the Montana Department of Environmental Quality’s Nonpoint Source Program.
An important part of our planning process is to encourage involvement from a diverse group of watershed stakeholders, giving people the opportunity to participate in the management of their local resources. Please take the time to share your contact info and input in the survey below, so that we can incorporate your values into our planning process, keep you updated, and share additional opportunities for you to be involved in the future.
